Hello-
I had a quick question for anyone out there who works in medical research, undergraduate or otherwise. I've been working in a med lab for about a year and a half now and, with the conclusion of our most recent project, I was hoping to propose to my mentor my own research idea. I've wanted to do this for a while now and I'm really excited about the idea.
One of my reasons for this is that I've always wanted to be published. I was wondering if anyone knew how hard it is to do so, especially as an undergrad? I understand that the process of review by peers is extremely rigorous and can take quite some time, but I was wondering if anyone here had ever tried.
Thanks!
P.S. Like the message board idea!
